aspirit: Young kids make up words on their own. I prefer to spend my energy on teaching them how the alphabet relates to real words when they're learning to read, so this felt like wasted time to read to someone that young.

aspirit: A childhood gift from my grandparents. I wasn't prepared for stories that read like horror within the cutesy pastel drawings. Maybe it scared me in my preteens more than it disappointed.
