Deedledee: Lowe examines the public bathroom as a social and political issue. In this fascinating book, she discusses how the design of public toilets (if you can even find one!) are not for cis-gender women, anyone transitioning, those with a disability (visible or not), caregivers, or the homeless. She talks about the rise of public "conveniences" as they were euphemistically known, and their disappearance. A really interesting read.
