Breve biografia
Arthur J. Zuckerman was born in Brooklyn, New York. He earned a B.A. from City College and was ordained a rabbi before earning a PhD from Columbia University. He was the author of A Jewish Princedom in Feudal France, 768–900 (1972), which argued that a Jewish princedom was established in Narbonne, France by Pepin, king of the Franks (father of Charlemagne) as a reward for Jewish cooperation in the Frankish conquest of the city in 759 CE from Muslims.
