nonfiction; craft/sewing. These garments are couture in that they are individually made and are probably not anything you would wear on the street. They basically look like you cut up clothes and experimentally sewed them back together (very drapey and baggy and often sacklike)--I prefer something that looks like you COULD have bought it RTW, or at least something that fits in a flattering way. Just saying.

Have yet to make an item from the book but love the ideas I get every time I flip through it.
