I saw this work marketed as "shocking medical coverups" !!!
As consumers, we are caught between a trillion dollar industrial production of toxic food marketed by monopolists, and predators who prey upon our fears and hopes, with veiled attacks on government, doctors, and...other predators! Still, there is a lot of truth in the fact that we are being poisoned and malnourished and our doctors are as helpless as we are since they are largely employed by insurance companies to stay focused on selling drugs. No one makes money helping you eat egg plant and cruciferous vegetables.… (altro)

This book is an interesting exploration of the biology of stomach acid and how our medicines that suppress acid are actually doing more harm than good. The book seems to have a bias towards natural medicine, so keep that in mind, but the information is really interesting.
