An interesting look at Irish names and some of the reactions to being Irish in the mid 20th Century. Patrick Woulfe was of the opinion that all Irish people should adopt an irish name and stop slavishly following English names. I wonder what he would think today.
Woulfe was priest of the Diocese of Limerick and Member of the Council, National Academy of Ireland.
