Doctored Death (A Kenzie Kirsch Medical Thriller #2), my thirty-first read from author P.D. Workman. Although not as good as the first book in the series none-the-less extremely well written, the characters well-developed. More medical mystery/suspense than anything I've read of her other works. Maybe why that's why I like it so much since I love a good mystery. “I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." My third read from author P.D. Workman (the first two were so good I had to read another immediately), although I own several of her books I’d never gotten around to reading one and after I’d acquired Auntie Clem’s Bakery #3 I wanted to read the first two books in the series before reading it, I really don’t like to read books out of sequence. Allergen-Free Assignation is extremely well written, the characters well developed. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters. Who and what they are. Why they do the things they do. The things that make a reader get invested into the characters and thereby the book and now in the third book of the series you already know the characters and can appreciate the continued growth of the characters and the community as well as the author’s 3-book weave to get to this point. So many things from the first two well-written books now make even more sense with the culmination of the third book. I’m really glad I read the books in order and look forward to P.D. Without Foresight (Reg Rawlins, Psychic Investigator, #12), my twenty-sixth read from author P.D. Workman. Extremely well written, the characters well-developed building over the first eleven books in the series and now you're so heavily invested in them. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters. Who and what they are. Why they do the things they do.
