Excellent book describing the role of church elders. The elder's responsibility is to shepherd the sheep - to know, feed, lead, and protect them. "It's about the sheep" (p. 217). Witmer provides practical suggestions and even forms to use in fulfilling the call to be a shepherd to church members.
