I liked this better than Volume 1, though it is still a bit cutesy for my tastes. But there was a lot more plot going on which drew me into the story. I'm glad it was available on KU because I'm not sure I would have picked it up otherwise. I'm more open to continuing on with the series now than I had been.

A lot of unfinished stories to tell. I hope Leth and Williams can keep them all going. There's some great Ian character development in this one.

So I pretty much fell in love with this character while watching Jessica Jones.

If you go into this thinking you are going to see more of Patsy and Jessica in this one, you are not. Or at least not so far. We have Patsy as different from her t.v. counterpart as possible.

She's employed by She-Hulk and living in a storage closet. While doing work for She-Hulk she is still doing what she can to help out others.

I think that since this is the first comic in the series I am going to give it some leeway. There's obviously some plot points to be followed up after this first one. We hear mention of Patsy's not that great of a mother. We know that she is known because her mother used to write comics about Patsy (shudder) and she's still dealing with the fallout from that years later. She now has a new roommate who she plans on teaching about how to be a hero, and she's working retail.

I really liked the fact that the Kindle allows you to zoom in on the panels. So that way you can right click on it which makes panel one large enough to read and you just right click and it continues with the other panels. I was worried about how this was going to look on my computer/IPAD and now I am not so worried.

The graphics are pretty good. They really remind me of old school comics though. Just the way the colors are and some of the faces that Patsy makes.

The writing though pushes this comic through the roof. We have an acknowledgement that the rest of the world knows about inhumans as Patsy and some other people are known as and we even get a shout out to female Thor.

I did love how Patsy doesn't bat an eyelash when one character explains about an ex-partner. Most books would have made a very big deal about this person being gay.

I am going to get #2 for this series just to see what's going to happen to Patsy next.

Okay. I am a fan. Seriously. I was laughing my way through this entire comic. After last issue we know that Patsy is now working retail. She has a 17 year old boss.

And she's still dealing with the fallout of her comic being re-released with random people coming to ask her personal questions.

And it looks like Patsy is about to whoop up on her frenemy Hedy who somehow scooped up the rights and is now reaping the monetary benefits of the comic being out there for public consumption again.

I cracked up at the scene with Patsy saying she needed at least 30 more seconds of rage. Girl I feel you. Sometimes you just need to feel the anger and put it way for a few seconds.

The plot is fairly straightforward in this one and we still have forward progression on Patsy's idea to start a superhero agency. I love that Patsy is living with Ian (telekinetic) who it seems has a crush on Patsy's childhood friend Tom.

There is a lot of humor in this comic and also it great about reflecting some of the reality in which celebrities live now. A scene where girls come up to Patsy to ask her questions and then one of them just takes her photo just made me cringe a bit inside. I have been out with people in D.C. before (we do get celebs here) and for the most part, we leave them alone. When you see Joe Biden strolling around, Hollywood celebs are not that interesting for the most part. But also, they are busy, what the heck is wrong with people going up to them to demand an autograph and picture. Or to just take their pic without permission.

Whoops, end rant.

We do get to see Patsy suit up in this one which was great. Mental note, don't call her kitten.

There is also a funny little reveal about who Patsy is friends with too.

Anyway I can't wait to read the next one which is showing an overall plot about an old enemy!
