John Willison (1) (1650–1780)

John Willison (1680-1750) was born near Stirling in Scotland. Converted at an early age, he followed a regular course of academic education, pursuing the study of theology with great success. In 1703, he received a unanimous call to pastor the parish church at Brechin, north of Dundee. After 15 mostra altro years of ministry there, he was called to fill the vacancy at South Church Dundee, where he labored faithfully for the rest of his life.
