Brian Glyn Williams is Professor of Islamic History at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. He was employed by the CIA to track suicide bombers in Afghanistan in 2007. I enjoyed this read. It was very insightful on both Afghanistan and Iraq, and written in a helpful chronological order. I did not like how politically focused it was and how much it needlessly addressed conspiracy theories. It also had numerous grammatical and sentence structure errors. I would recommend this book to friends who want to read for understanding on these two wars, but I think the War College could probably find a better book to support the requirements of the syllabus.… (altro)
