Alison Meadows goes to her deceased grandfathers house to look for a lockbox for her mother. After she finds it and gives it to her mother the house will signed over to her and she can start a bed and brew business. Her first night there she is jolted awake by a naked man breaking into the house. After talking a bit, she accidently shoots him, she thinks. While she and the man are talking they hear another noise and watch as a man shifts into the form of a raven and flies off with the lockbox.
Michael Morrissey just wants to get a look at the things in old man Jacksons house. It is all going up for auction and he wants to find the best lots to bid on and to find a lockbox with a necklace in it that belongs to his family. What he didn't expect was a woman to be pointing a shot gun at him. Then another man shows up, grabs the lockbox, shifts into a raven and flies off.
Now they need to get the lockbox back. Between Alison's mother, Michael's brothers, the sheriff, a raven queen and an upstart raven shifter.....The have their work cut out for them. Oh! And don't forget the attraction that they both feel but are trying, and failing, to ignore.

Mina Brooks is on the run from her ex, a business shark....aka criminal. Trying to get as far as she can, as fast as she can, she goes to fast and wrecks her car. Sitting in a jail in Bearfield, she is in need of a lawyer.
Matt Morrissey is one of two lawyers in Bearfield. He gets an early morning call to go to work. Boy does he get a surprise when he walks into the room that is used as a holding cell. He has just found his mate.
Mina knows nothing about shifters. So Matt decides to gradually clue her in. Well, that was the plan anyway. Leave it to the goons to mess things up even more.
Matt knows he can protect Mina, but the ex is a bit more then he seems. Being a chef means more then just cooking.
