Paul White (1) (1910–1992)

As a child my family owned this series. I suspect that because of these "adventure" stories one of my brothers became a doctor and a pilot. Just suspecting.

It starts okay as an autobiography, but then becomes a selection of sometimes/sometimes not interesting topics. Interesting (not a criticism) that he managed to get a lot out of a relatively short stay in Africa. I missed more detail on his actual work in Africa, and the people there. I read his Jungle Doctor books when I was young. Would like to read one or two again as a result of reading this book.

Another fantastic adventure of the true-life Dr. Paul White in Tanzania. My kids 11 and 14 love them - we have the entire series. The audio set is wonderful too
