Guy Watson

This is one of the best sources of information on seasonal vegetables I have read. The recipes are straightforward and easy to follow. The recommendations for storage of vegetables is very useful and has made buying much easier. Overall the authors are practical in their approach, avoiding fancy fashionable phrases so frequently used by 'TV' chefs.
The observations made by Guy Watson throughout the book are interesting and whilst I do agree with them all, they are his genuinely held views and therefore deserve respect.
This is one cookery book that will sit on the worktop rather than on a shelf.… (altro)
