Lech Walesa founded the union Solidarity in 1980, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983, and was elected President of the Republic of Poland in 1990. Since the end of his presidency, he has been a lecturer, adviser, and advocate of democracy around the world.

Very interesting book, informative and whatnot. I was very surprised that, for being a sort-of non-violent activist saint, Walesa has quite a bit of of an ego!
