Jonas Ward

Buchanan and Coco Bean are on their way to Fort Worth where they plan for Coco to box a famous boxer named Corcoran. They find that the local authorities have banned boxing. They soon become involved with a woman named Lu and an ex-convict named Porado who are both planning on driving their cattle to Dodge City. Their problem is a man named Demetrius who has already tried to steal Lu's herd.

Buchanan agrees to help the two get their cattle to Dodge and finds additional assistance from an Apache boy and a runaway kid from Texas. Buchanan comes across as almost superman although the addition of the Apache boy and the complicated love interest of Lu and two of the main characters lends some interest to the plot.… (altro)
