Until I picked this book up in the store I had no idea that one could speak and make money from it. Now, I often present at library conferences. While the speaking doesn't make me money it doesn't help me save a bit on registration fees and that has been a nice treat. This book really opened to my eyes to a whole new branch of professional development that can be rewarding. While I do think the authors are overly optimistic about the potential to become rich, much of the advice is quite good and, like me, you may find a small means by which you can offset travel costs through speaking engagements. At the very least, this book will let you see possibilities you may not have considered before.… (altro)
