The Princess Scout (Scout series Book 8) di Henry Vogel
The Scout series started as an updated sword & planet adventure. It continues in The Princess Scout with not only a new generation of characters, but also a completely different environment more reminiscent of a spy thriller. There are great characters, plenty of action, and lots of suspense--highly recommended. You can enjoy The Princess Scout on its own, but I recommend you read the Scout series from the beginning to fully appreciate the Princess' background.
Loved it. A classic "Gary Stu" pulp-action story. Read it straight through. Almost every chapter ends with a cliffhanger, as if they are the chapters serialized in a pulp magazine.
My second "scout" book and I loved it. Read it through in one sitting.
