Fun comic with little stories about some of the characters. The art is amazing, some of the characters look a lot like the show counterparts, some do not, but still look good.

Everything you know is wrong! America Chavez gets an unnecessary and unnecessarily convoluted secret origin retcon.

I really love the character, but this and her previous solo series just don't seem to do her justice. Maybe third time will be the charm?

I guess we're really going with this new retconned backstory for America? Huh, okay. I do like the further development of the Santanas and America's relationship with them. Not sure we really needed another version of "hero has fictional disease and got superpowers as a side effect of treating it", given that Spider-woman has a very similar plot...
Aside from my feelings about the choices this whole mini-series made, this particular issue was decent, and tied things up well.

I have such mixed feelings about this plot. On the one hand, it's interesting and dramatic and gives the characters a lot to deal with. On the other hand, it completely negates what happened in the previous run of America! I hope they can find a way to reconcile these plots.
