What did I just read? The book starts out with Lizette wanting to tell a lie just because she can. So they tell a lie and that lie becomes a reality. The lie is that they are going are going to the mountains and instead they go to molehill. They make a fishing hole and have a campfire. The whole day turns out to be a perfectly fun day. Lisette gets back and tell her mom to remind her that she shouldn’t lie. Talk about a confusing moral point. If you could leave out the point of the lie this would be a fun and entertaining book. However, to have a lie with no conflict resolution just a bad moral to teach. This is a pass for me… (altro)
