A fairly typical action thriller, competently executed. Steams along at a good pace and ties up pretty well at the end. I found the plot slightly difficult to follow at times, but this is a minor criticism.
A great, fun action adventure with art history thrown in (but not in a boring way.) If you're a fan of Da Vinci-style action thrillers with historical tie-ins, you'll love this one. Perhaps slightly down the 'action and guns' end of the scale rather than the 'cerebral' end, more Scott Mariani than Dan Brown, but a great ride that kept me interested for every page.
