This is the fourth installment in the Asphodel series and is the first novella in that set. A short and sweet read, we get to dive into the love story of our favorite cheeky trickster: Hermes. We get an MM insta-love, we get a forced-proximity quest, we get multiple gods taking the piss out of Zeus, not to mention some cameos by our favorites Hecate & Aeëtes. I loved it, one of the best installments yet and I can't wait for more Hermes & Hercules cameo's in the rest of the series!
If you love Greek Mythology retellings, you can dive into this without reading the rest of the series but just know some of the character pairings from previous books will be spoiled.
*Spoiler Free Just Themes* ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Asphodel series are Greek myth retellings, but with some new ideas/characters thrown in to keep things interesting. Overall I love the focus on some of the less famous gods & goddesses.
3) Enamored in Death - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 - Thanatos & Makaria - Death is such an interesting concept and we get to explore the Underworld even further with Thanatos. Learning to let Makaria in and share his role as the God of Death proved very difficult for someone fated to walk alone. But what a gift to see him finally embrace that blessed change. 😉… (altro)

2) Lost to Witchcraft - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 - Hecate & Aeëtes - My fav goddess & couple so far. I love how Hecate has so many facets. Most gods are known for one or two things but she has so many and it was interesting to explore them all. - Hecate is living a life shaped by heartbreak and is unsure how to accept new love and joy. It was so beautiful to see all of the ways that Aeëtes supported and accepted all parts of her, I was literally clapping multiple times!… (altro)

1) Consort of Darkness - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 - Nyx & Erebus - A love between Primordials that have been together since the dawn of time. This follows their journey to re-kindle their love after the gods threaten to tear them apart. - What I love about Molly's writing in this is the exploration of womanhood and how men and women approach relationships and love and respect so differently. There were so many amazing quotes I know I'll be going back to. - Solid start to the series, this took me a while to get into for some reason, but once I finally got about halfway in I was hooked.… (altro)
