Erin Trejo

I have read all of Erin Trejo's MC series books so when I found out she was going to be a part of the Royal Bastards MC series I was ecstatic! Unbreak Me is the 2nd book in the Royal Bastards MC: Savannah, GA chapter series. It is short and dirty. So much is packed into this short read but it just works. I know I can always count on Erin Trejo's books when I want something very dark with all the hard triggers in it and this does not disappoint.
Demon is the President of the Savannah chapter and he uses BDSM as a coping skill for his abusive traumatic past. He gets traded Cheryl a clubwhore from the Maryland chapter so he can break her like he's done many before her. Although I think he met his match with her. Instead of obeying she puts up a fight, instead of hating the pain she enjoys it. Demon feels a pull to her that makes him treat her differently. He recognizes something in her that he sees in himself. Their pasts are similar, unfortunately. When the trouble from Cheryl's past finds her Demon vows he will protect her going as far as claiming her. They both know their bond is unbreakable. Their dark souls were meant for each other and no one was going to get in their way.
I gave this book a 4-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. I didn't like how the book was so short. There could have been so much more included if it had more pages. But that's the only thing I didn't like. The book was on point and my inner deviant thoroughly enjoyed it. This book can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading the 1st book before this one. If you like this book check out Erin Trejo's other MC series. I promise they won't disappoint. I can't wait for the next book in this series to come out.… (altro)

Blood Lust, the 1st book in the Royal Bastards MC: Savannah, GA chapter by Erin Trejo is everything I thought it would be and more. I've read so many of Erin Trejo's books I've come to rely on her to push the limits and she does not shy away in this book at all. Reading her work is not for the light-hearted. There are more triggers than I can list and they can sometimes be too much. I've found myself in tears reading some of her books, they pull at the heartstrings but I still become immersed in them.
In this book, you meet Drake who is the club VP and a born psychotic killer who suffered from abuse at the hands of his father. His lust for blood controls his life and he has no problem killing anyone in his path. In this book, he is set on getting revenge against a rival club. He doesn't care what it takes even if it means breaking the rules of the brotherhood. He's chosen his next victim to be Evie, the rival club President's Ol'Lady. Evie is a woman you feel for. There is a lot about her that you don't see from the outside. Drake thought he would take her and rape and torture her until he had the blood he craved like an obsession. It never occurred to him that he might just meet his match. Evie's life hasn't been easy and she's full of a darkness that calls to Drake. He's taken aback when he realizes she likes everything he wants to do with her like the blood play he craves. Will Drake be able to go through with his plan or will Evie rock his world?
I gave this book a 5-star rating and a 5-spicy rating. It had all the elements I look for from Erin Trejo in a dark romance. This was one of the darkest I've ever read and almost too much to take. I admire Erin for being able to write about the heavy situations she does. Not many authors I've read have been able to do that. Especially in great detail. This is an excellent start to a new series and I can't wait to see what the rest of the books are like if this is just the start.… (altro)

Tyrant by Erin Trejo is the 4th book in her Royal Devils MC: Georgia chapter. It was fast paced like most of her books are but this one wasn't as explicit like I've come to know Erin's books to be. That was a bit refreshing.
Before Tyrant became the President of the Royal Devils, he was a 16 year old kid trying to make it on the streets in a bad neighborhood. On Halloween night, he saw a couple guys he knew trying to kill a girl he knew from the neighborhood. He stepped in and saved her life. He's hated Halloween ever since because that night has haunted him to this day.
Tatum still wears the scars of that night 20 years later. She's never really gotten over what happened to her but tries to live her life. She has a successful business and a good career but not much else in life.
A few days before Halloween when Tyrant and Tatum both get notices the guys that hurt her were being released from jail things start happening. Who knew some black roses could lead to so much more. Tatum gets so scared she runs to the clubhouse to find Tyrant cause he's the only man that she has ever felt safe with and she's needs that now more than ever. Tyrant agrees to help her against the advice of his brothers but with a catch. He might have selfish reasons for wanting to help her but he also wants to because he already has, that night on Halloween. The club does some digging and find out the guys in jail have help on the outside to scare/warn her to what is coming when they are released. Tyrant vows that they will not get their hands on her.
No matter how much he tries to protect her, things still take a turn for the worst and she ends up back in the same situation she was in 20 years ago. And Tyrant comes to her rescue again just in time with his brothers at his back.
This book can be read as a stand alone but if you want the backstory of the club then I suggest starting with the 1st book in the Royal Devils MC: Georgia chapter series. Tyrant's book is the last in the series. I think it is the perfect ending to the series. I couldn't put it down I read the whole thing in one day.… (altro)
