I finally finished this book over the weekend. It was the longest 300 pages I have ever read. I am sure this book would have been great for a class on south Africa or for someone who already knows a bit about S.A. It was difficult for me to follow. Though i do suspect I now know a lot more about S.A. than I did before I started. Not for a beginner, but a very balanced report.
A really fantastic look at the full history of South Africa. I would really recommend it as an open an honest portrait of the country and the people thereof.
