Cave Hill Cemetery is one of Louisville, Kentucky's historical and treasured delights as well as one of its most visited landmarks. Its 300 acres were set aside in perpetuity beginning in 1848 and contain over 100,000 monuments, a wildlife habitat and a regional arboretum with more than 500 species of shrubs and trees.
