A little light reading. And I mean light, both in style and substance. Lot's of factual errors in here - for example the Hoosier national Forest is over a quarter million acres, not 2640 as the book describes. Some of the tales are mere rehashed urban legends, and the whole book is but a feeble attempt to cash in on our longing for supernatural folktales connecting our increasingly rootless culture. Nonetheless, a few good stories, and few places where I've visited and heard the tales before.

Now I need to buy a tuque and drink some swish. Being a Michigander, I feel that I can claim that I'm half Canuck already. :)

Collection of ghost stories that take place in London. Well written and actually has more historical background on the locations than ghost stories proper. That being said it never does get boring. But for the most part the ghost story part of it takes a back seat to the historical location. Pubs and bars is the first section, then "royal" haunts such as tower of London and various palaces. Enjoyable overall but again more historical than ghost stories.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As a fan of reading true paranormal stories, this one was very interesting. From learning more about the Amityville home to a house that was based for "Rosemary's Baby". Lot of history and stories about things that go bump in the night.
