While a great reference for starting your own backyard composting, there's not much intricacy to getting composting going. After all, like the author frequently states, "composting happens." A pamphlet or decent webpage would cover the practical information in this 100-page book more efficiently. The majority of the book is spent on convincing the reader that composting is great for economics, environment, food quality and so on; things that the reader probably already believed in if they had picked up the book.
That said, everything is explained extremely well and the techniques are relatively timeless, so this does make a nice composting guide.… (altro)
