Vangie Vale and the Murdered Macaron (The Matchbaker… di R.L. Syme
This book was way too long for the story. It felt like too many twists were added. By the time I got to the end there were characters in play that I couldn't remember how they related to the story. At the 50% mark I took a break and realized I was only half way through but it felt like we had reached the reveal point. The motives didn't make sense at all, and keeping the main characters scandal a secret was more annoying than suspenseful.
Very well written, edge of the seat drama and mystery to the end.
Ms. Boyd did a wonderful job of bringing new characters to Sweet Grove and keeping true to the world that Melissa Storm created. This was a very sweet romance and a wonderful visit with prior characters too. Am looking forward to reading other title's in the new Kindle World.
Regret, forgiveness, understanding and trust are put to the test in Montana Mistletoe. Youthful mistakes, bad choices and lack of trust caused Gillian and Mason to pull the plug on their marriage. When they unexpectedly come face to face on a night that Gillian needs everything to go perfectly old wounds and regrets are brought to the surface. Gillian and Mason have the chemistry and I thought the story was a good read. There were times however that I found the story to be a little to drawn out. Received a copy of this story for an honest review.… (altro)
