George Storm

George Storm created two boy-adventure strips in the 1920's: Phil Hardy, and the later, better-received Bobby Thatcher. Both strips are boy-versions of Little Orphan Annie, with the same adventure style and work ethic that permeates the strips. The artwork is not quite as stylish as Harold Gray's but it serves. The strips are kind of a guilty pleasure, not subtle in approach, but addictively satisfying.
