cookbook; use up that buttermilk! Did not realize it made a good marinade--have yet to try it with chicken (remember to let marinate overnight, but not more than 24 hours else the texture suffers) and have plans to try the pie crust. I did try the eggs-in-a-ramekin (okay, about what you'd expect) and the pancakes were also just okay (not significantly better than just using buttermilk with Nigella's pancake mix, which I usually use). There were also some interesting soup recipes here (sort of like yogurt-based soups, but with buttermilk) that I did not try but sounded yummy.… (altro)

i have not had this cookbook long, but i`ve already had some great adventures. If you are a daring cook you will want this. Making the best butter you have ever tasted, takes just minutes with a food processor. Buttermilk enhances lots of dishes!! I now have a deep dish peach pie (using buttermilk in the crust and peaches!). I have frozen the extra butter in balls. !!!!!
