A first year textbook targetted, I guess, at a course like "Chemistry for
Liberal Arts Students", this was rather less quantitative than I recall my first year of chemistry as being.
Nevertheless it performed acceptably, giving me a brief review of basic chemistry before I spend more time on the bits that interest me.
