The Mammoth Book of The Chronicles of Sherlock… di Denis O. Smith
contemporary, but early Holmes, with a better than average ability to imitate Doyle's style with Watson. repetitive handling of dialogue grammar, such as an abundance of said he's instead of he said's. Plots were sometimes clever and the stories were not overly long, except with VELVET MASK and OLD SCHOOL FRIEND.
this was at the bottom of my kindle history. i remember reading it, but i don't remember when. it was a pretty nice little read but nothing that super stuck out in my mind.
1. The Adventure of The Crimson Arrow: I recognized the spirit of the orginnal stories and enjoyed the read.
