Marshall Smelser

I read this book some 30+ years ago (1980+/-).
This is an excellent book (i.e., a 5 on a 5 point scale), which is much more than I expect when I buy a book.
This is about the amphibious operations in the Sugar Islands (Martinique and Guadeloupe), during 1759, by the British against the French.
It is well researched and well written, but has almost no illustrations or maps (it's a shame that they didn't have cameras).
I very much enjoyed reading this book.
