Strange fantasy about a lost Roman society with characters such as Clodia, Stolo, Piso, Cratinus and Mr Rodgers. The bookplate suggests an 1898 publication date, marking the Prix du Comite des Etats English prize for Lena Oberwein, Ecole St Joseph, Guernsey, December 9th 1898.
