The book is missing "A very short introduction to" from its title. There's not a lot about economic theory here, it's mostly biographical summaries of well known economists. Contains attempts at humour, repetitions, repetitions and pretentious suggestions of "music to listen to" while reading a chapter.

If you ever thought that to truly understand economics you need to know the sexual proclivities of famous economists this book delivers all the gossip you ever wanted. Honestly, why the author decided to include this is beyond me.… (altro)

Brimming with bullshit. A compilation of paragraph sized articles, opinionated, repetitive and inch-deep. On a more personal note, using the term do-gooder as a pejorative makes you look like some cartoon villain (and an asshole).
