The writing is as beautiful as the dangerous world and lures in with just as much grace.

Usually, I start off with a short description of the plot as I saw it, but this time, the blurb says it all. Vynasha lives a solitary life thanks to her magic, and she holds secrets to match the gossip swirling about her. She's an intriguing character, who also grabs sympathy right away, not only because of her lonely situation but due her to desire to protect her nephew, too.

The world is crafted with as much poetic beauty as the writing. It's a treat to visit each scene and simply sink into the moment. It weaves with Vynasha's journey to form a vivid atmosphere and makes the tension, worries, struggles, and hopes dig deep. While lovely, though, some passages need to be read more than once to understand what is being brought across. This isn't my favorite style, but it'd be wrong to say that it's not well done.

The plot follows the main flow as described in the blurb. However, there is quite a bit happening on the side as well. It's layered with so many secrets and surprises. While these captured my interested and curiosity, many of them are left open-ended and unanswered, while others simply brought a little confusion. There is a second book on the way, which I'm expecting will clear much of this up. While I did enjoy diving into this tale and found the twist to Beauty and the Beast more than intriguing, I'm going to bow out after this first book, since it's simply not quite my thing. Still, I'm glad I had the chance to visit the enchanting world.

I recieved this books as an R2R in the group Young Adult Reads.

This is such a sweet little book that I really enjoyed reading. It's quite short so it's quick and easy to read and perfect for challenges. It's really easy to get into to the story and I was really intrigued to find out about these strange "hunans" that are similar to people but have gills and silvery hair. The story kept my attention the whole time and was very nicely written. I will probably be reading the next in the series at some point 'cause I want to know what'll happen with Ohre, the miner.

The only thing I wasn't too keen on was Ohre's way of speaking. Just about everyone in this book spoke normally but than Ohre would say something and I'd have to re-read what he said because it just didn't match the rest of the book. Here's an exaple of something Ohre says in the middle of a completely normal sounding conversation: “How it be cranking there, Navigator?”
For me this was just annoying but I understand why he speaks like this. It does set him apart from the hunans (he's a miner) but in my opinion it would have made more sense if he talked more normally.

Stay is the second book I’ve read from the author Jennifer Silverwood. The best thing about the author is that the books are very easy to read. The characters, setting and details are very natural.. it doesn’t feel like they are parts of her imagination. The book feels very real though this is not a regular fiction.
I fell in love with the female lead Orona from the first chapter itself. I tried to give her life in my imagination but every time I read another detailing about her appearance; I feel that I’ve failed to imagine her right. I loved how Orona accepted the curse from her lover Seid and walked the earth for two thousand years testing and protecting true love.
This is a kind of supernatural romance fiction which doesn’t feel artificial. The male lead Cain is an interesting character. He is very much hurt when his girlfriend Lissa breaks his heart and leaves him for another rich guy. Orona is assigned the job of bringing back Cain and Lissa. But Orona falls in love with Cain since he is very much like Seid. Orona starts feeling Cain’s love and loves him in return though she knows its not in the rulebook. She faces a huge conflict about her love for Cain and her job of bringing Cain and Lissa together. The story is about what she chooses to do by the end.
I very much enjoyed this story. All the supernatural powers of Orona, Cain’s love, Orona’s past, Lissa’s guilt, everything make the story very engaging. Its an out and out entertainment. I couldn’t put down the book until I hit the last page. The story is beautifully written and succeeds in engaging the reader completely.

She Walks in Moonlight is a beautiful story. This is the first book I'm reading from Jennifer Silverwood. The lead character Zwezda Danica Pavlova comes to USA from Russia at the age of 8. She meets Adam King in her new school. They become best friends instantly. They grow together but Zwezda's bad past experiences and her gypsy mother influence push her to leave everything she loves behind and run to Russia. She comes back to USA to help her brother who is suffering from cancer to raise his kids. She faces Adam again after 10 years who is a changed man now and no more a high school teenager whom she left behind. The story is about how she finds her hope again and how she takes the leap of faith in spite of her fears.

The hero Adam is a wonderful character. He is a strong man who fights all odds and stands on his feet again after a terrible accident and successfully serves the army. The story makes you believe in second chances and love. I totally enjoyed this story and finished reading it in just a day. The characters are very wonderfully built by the author. Almost everyone in the story is wonderful beings, from kids to the adults. This is a very good book for everyone. Loved it, totally!
