Doctor Who writers talk a lot about the format's endless possibilities, but most books, audios and comics actually stay within a fairly clear (if wide) range of styles. The Short Trips audios are a brilliant opportunity to explore more diverse ideas, and Doctors and Dragons does just that, having the Doctor pop up inside a fantasy roleplaying game – why shouldn't the Doctors travels traverse forms of reality as easily as they do years and planets?
