Reason read: War Room (LT), American War of Independence
This was a work of fiction but I think it had a lot of facts, the non fiction parts would have included the "thoughts of the various characters"; Adams, Jefferson, Franklin, Washington, etc. (in fact - the perspectives of multiple characters, including Sentry Hugh White of the British army, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Lieutenant-General Thomas Gage, George Washington, Governor Thomas Hutchinson, Captain James Hall, Abigail Adams, Paul Revere, Dr. Joseph Warren, and Major John Pitcairn. Re-read (read first time 6 years ago) of Civil War up to attack on Gettysburg. Read as prelude to seeing new movie of same name, but reviews are so bad that I will probably not see the movie now. Book is undoubtedly much better telling the story.
