Mama Serpentine

Mama Serpentine: A Cry in the Wilderness is an exhibition that is based on the pictorial diary of an Aboriginal woman who suffered from mental illness and eventually took her own life. This catalogue of the exhibition represents the paintings of eleven Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal women who created artworks inspired by the diary writer's original images and words.
