I loved both the characters and the story but the execution of it fell flat for me. It was''t awful but it needed something possible a bit of editing and reorganization.

You can definitely tell that Jessica Scott knows her way around the military. Lots of lingo that I don't think is common knowledge. Scott does a nice job of driving home the point that there are a lot of mental health issues in the military but I think that the romance thrown in there fell flat for me. I know this one was #4 in a series so maybe if I had started at the beginning I would have had a better picture but I felt as if I was reading a PSA for military mental health awareness rather than a romance in a military setting. Not my cup of tea.… (altro)
