A good introduction to the basic metaphysical issues and thinkers, as discussed in an undergraduate philosophy course. The reading selection is good, with more medieval writers than is typical (which I appreciate). The introduction and commentary by Dr. Schoedinger is a little sparse, however. This book provides introductory readings in metaphysics that surely must be supplemented by other sources (other readings, a professor, etc.) for the beginning student.
