libraryofemma | 1 altra recensione | Oct 20, 2023 | The covers of this book series are absolutely gorgeous! This is the second book in the series the pace has picked up of course because we are now in the thick of things. I loved being able to learn more about this world & the character developments are great to see! It's an action packed page turner full of twists & turns! With the ending of this book I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

The Revelation of Three by By Sara M Schaller is a continuation of book one in the The Empyrean Trilogy and we are again I’m the middle of Jordan and Sophia’s journey, and what a journey it is. I found that this journey was filled with action packed adventure. The returning characters developed even deeper and fuller in this second book and the new people we meet develop well.
There are a lot if twists and turns here in this book that will keep you guessing throughout this YA story. I encourage you to check out The Revelation of Three for your own enjoyment. I think after you read this one you will be waiting for the next book in this series.
A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.… (altro)

JoyChattinHannabass | 2 altre recensioni | Dec 23, 2021 | The exciting, frightening, adventures of the three youth raised in an orphanage together, resumes in this second bo0k of the Empyrean Trilogy. Jordan, Sophia, and Dane were nearing twenty years of age. Through unexpected and horrifying situations the three are brought together again, each having grown in "wisdom and stature". The Angels of Heaven have joined them to protect them. All the beasts of Hell and more are assembling. However, there is great conflict in Hell.
As angels and demons battle for the final power and the chosen ones, the plot thickens, leading to the final battle. Who will win?
This book ends with a definite cliffhanger, leaving the reader anxious to discover how the trilogy will end.
The author has created a story with so many surprises that it is almost impossible to determine what comes next or how it will finally end.
The characters are creative and most of the personalities seem real. A few, though, are slightly difficult to envision.
The action is ongoing, building the momentum to the anticipation of the final plot.
The thing I didn't like, is the use of the real Heaven and Hell and of the real names of the diety and demons. The literary freedom used, distorts the real beings, causing a false understanding of the true characters of all. If it were a mythical "Heaven" and "Hell", literary freedom would be acceptable but this is not the case.
*This book was gifted to me with no pressure to post a positive review. This is my honest review.… (altro)

First thing's first, I really liked how this was in no way a romance. It was so refreshing to have a book that isn't all mushy.
The plot of this book was so interesting and I really liked the travel aspect of the story. It isn't often that I can pick up a book and see so much of the world.
Also, it is important to note that this is a FANTASY book. It is in no way meant to reflect what actually is and I felt like the book was quite clear about that.
All in all, if you are looking for a unique read that shows you the world, The Genesis of Seven would be a great choice.
