QUESTION OF MEANING BY SAUTER GERHARD AUTHOR… di Gerhard Sauter

I am really not sure how to rate this book. I was lost from page 1, something I have never experienced before. First, I misunderstood the thrust of the book, thinking it about meaning in Scripture.

Is this the fault of the author, or solely because I did not have any connection to the language or theory behind the structure of the arguments.

I can say that the run on sentences, inconsistent use of terms, words without clear definition did not help.

If another reader is immersed this philosophical problem and already knows the language, they may well gain something from this book. Anyone hoping to enter the discussion should not start here.… (altro)

What Dare We Hope?: Reconsidering Eschatology… di Gerhard Sauter

Sauter provides an overview of different approaches to eschatology since Weiss and Schweitzer. The book is translated from the German and is difficult to follow at times.
