DNF: the writing style (inner monologue ish) just wasn't working for me and I wasn't really feeling the characters.

The truth of things is not always in black and white, on and off, right or wrong. There is a grey matter to things. Do you have the mental fortitude to take that step in a forward direction and see everything for what it is? Or what you perceive them to be?

This was the issue behind most of what went on with Violet and Pike. Both have a life they want, need, desire, and then the one they actually have. After mentally and physically skirting around with each other over the time of brief weekly contacts, the inevitable finally happens. The get that connection they both has secretly wanted.

Life was not a masterpiece painting. You had to take the time to let the paint dry and see where the beauty lay in your own eyes. Violet and Pike have time and encounters to go through together. There are no suspenseful intrigue, secret mystery behind the next door, or serious drama to unfold. There was a simple sweet romance of two getting to know each other through the things that they only wanted to share.

Half truths. Misdirection. Simple omission. Is that still a lie? Well find out in Naked Truth. You may just find some humor in the situations.

The storyline intrigued me, and even though you knew the secret was going to blow sky-high... it HAD to... the budding romance of Nick and Delilah was sweet and reeled you in, made you forget. And then... boom- the 'oh shit' moment happens and then the angst begins, but thankfully- blessedly- it's not overdone nor is it drawn out way too long. It was a fun read, and welcomed when my Nook is usually full of overly dramatic angst. Overall, I'm calling the story cute, but in a pervy way. ;)
