Marjorie Sandor

I enjoyed this book a great deal. Sandor is a deep and evocative writer which requires of the reader that you slow down. I've always admired writers who can do this just by virtue of their lyrical prose. Some parts of the book get a bit wobbly, such as the writer's visit back to Southern California, but it did not detract from the overall impression of the book. I picked it up at a local nursery here in the Corvallis, Oregon area and did enjoy some of the references to the local lifestyle and gardening culture.… (altro)
