I liked this a lot. Fun concept with likeable characters; it is already obvious why the animated version of this was one of the most popular series of 2011. The pacing seemed a bit too fast and choppy, the storyline jumps very fast from scene to scene, leaving plenty of things unexplained. I wondered if the manga was just moving very fast through the story and glossing over details that were in the anime but after watching the first episode of the anime, the fast pace seems to be the style of the series. I watched the first episode of the anime after reading and it is clear that the manga is a very faithful adaptation, which doesn't really make me inclined to pick up the rest of the manga as I can just take in the story in its original animated form.… (altro)

This one is less fun than the first volume, being more of an exploration of the characters, which is enjoyable nonetheless. It was interesting to see what being a hero meant to different characters and their motivations to become a hero. The ending of this one hints at some darker themes developing in the plot, which has me intrigued. However, I won't be reading the rest of these as I've gotten my hands on the anime now and want to enjoy the series in motion.

Held in the city of Japan, several robots are put on a action television show defeating one another in the battle of good and evil. Based off the hit anime show, boys and girls alike come together and carry on different conversations. Certainly not traditional manga, with more flash and glitz than storyline. Still a good one for people who want to deviate from teen fiction.
