God gave created us in bodies for a purpose! Several perspectives of Christian embodiment were presented in this book offering a lot for reflection on various levels: the self, the church "body," society, and the natural world. Thomas Ryan offers a great introduction, and the contributors share observations on their specific facet of embodiment in each chapter. I was able to personally understand and connect to certain ones more than others, but I appreciated all.
