How does it Work by Denise Ryan is a good book to have in the classroom although it is not ideal for young students who are just learning to read. The book does provide detailed photos that correspond to the words on the page, the only problem is that a majority of the words will be foreign to most young students. For older students this book would be good since it provides detailed information about everyday objects, how they work and they different components that make it work. Lastly, the book highlights important words that maybe new to students and that are important to the object the page is talking about. This is a good book to have in the classroom but be weary of using this book with new readers.… (altro)
