Blue Bison Needs a Haircut di Scott Rothman
Poor Blue Bison's barber isn't open, and he has some big feelings about that. Fun twist when his sister comes up with a solution to his dilemma.
Hilarious interplay between the text and the illustrations becomes more complex and funnier as the rhyming story rolls on. "Parfait" has a picture of a parfait on the facing page; "not parfait" shows a picture of a mallard duck. The rhymes and pictures get more and more ridiculous (shar-pei, toupee, gourmet buffet, hooray! Flambe!, etc.), great fun for adults as well as kids. The final "not parfait" shows the empty dessert glass, and the final word - "spork" - shows the original duck holding a spork and licking its bill. Very goofy and silly!… (altro)
Need a quick laugh. Pick up this book. Cole wants to be an assistant knight, and he gets the chance from Sir Percival. Sir Percival was very afraid of the Underwear dragon in his dreams. One day it is not a dream and the dragon eats everyone, except Cole, who uses his training to knock the underwear off the dragon and save the kingdom. Like I said this was a lot of fun and good for some laughs.
