I prefer to do research into a book before I read it so that way I know at least the baseline of the book, I'm not even sure if that's the right way to State it.
This was a impulse read because someone else on my friends list was reading it and I kept on seeing their updates so I thought hey why not.
I have never heard of this author before, so this is a first for me.
Honestly the fact that it was reverse harem and supernatural is why I gave it to stars. To me it was very long and drawn out and there wasn't enough connection to the characters of the book.
We have this bully named Gary who shows up out of the blue and there's no build up to who he is other than the fact that he's I think, the mayor's son? And this other character Dean who I still don't know who he is.
Anyway those two characters fell flat. Even at the end of the book their characters fell flat.

It's an extremely slow uptake, with sexual intentions and actions that didn't fall into place properly. There should have been more build up or at least more explanation into what was going on. Just suddenly she's having sex with these vampires out of the blue? Or sexual activities I should say.
I don't know how to explain what I'm trying to say but it really wasn't that great of a book. I invite my friends to read it to see if they understand what I'm talking about or to share their opinions on if they found it to be a flowing story? Is that what I'm trying to say?
Usually 300 Pages or less doesn't take me very long to read. But this one felt like I had to take several breaks just to be able to rinse my mind so that I could come back and concentrate on the book.
I feel bad. I know how much work goes into making a novel. And I don't want to say anything bad about the author. I just found this book didn't flow as nicely as some other books that I've been reading.… (altro)
